One group. Years of shared growth.

The 2026–27 cohort begins with students in grades 3–6. Each year, the same students advance together—building trust, responsibility, and momentum until they move into grades 8–9.

How the cohort works

The Zion Academy difference

Learning with depth, purpose, and place

A focused school day is enriched by projects, creative work, movement, and the extraordinary landscape around us.

01

Focused academics

Mixed-age instruction meets students at their level while keeping expectations high and progress visible.

02

Character in practice

Kindness, effort, completed work, and responsibility are daily expectations—not occasional themes.

03

Learning beyond a desk

Hiking, skiing, robotics, art, local history, student markets, and physical education make learning tangible.

04

Parents as partners

Families stay connected, support work at home, and occasionally help with projects, activities, and trips.

A proven model

The first cohort stayed together from elementary through middle school.

The previous Zion Academy group began as students in grades 3–5 and continued together until grades 8–9. The new cohort follows the same long-view model.
