After having several discussions with local parents, we have decided to continue the path to create a private school for our kids and for the local kids in the Zion corridor. To that end, we have been busy working on several tasks in order to have a top-notch school ready to kick off this fall.
Here are some of the tasks that are either completed or close to completion:
• Name of the school: Zion Academy
• Website: Zion.academy (this site!)
• 501(c)(3) non-profit: Meetings schedule with the attorneys (still in progress)
• Student registration form: complete
• Teacher/Student Evaluation form: complete
• Dress code: complete
Not yet started:
• Student handbook
• School prospectus
• Board members
• Marketing brochure (for hiring a teacher)
• Open req posted
