We hope this message finds you well. We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for our students this Friday – a field trip to Hildale to experience a Medieval Fair! Departing promptly at 9 am from the school, we anticipate returning by 2 pm.
This immersive adventure is designed to complement our IEW (Institute for Excellence in Writing) writing/history class this year. Students will have the unique chance to witness Knights in action, showcasing their skills with swords and engaging in thrilling jousting tournaments. Additionally, participants will encounter individuals dressed in elaborate costumes, fully committed to role-playing within the medieval time period.
To facilitate this memorable day, Shantell Andersen will be sending out a permission slip. We kindly request that you ensure its return by Friday, allowing your child to partake in this enriching experience.
For the convenience of all, we recommend each student bring a sack lunch and a bottle of water. While there may be optional activities at the fair that require additional funds, we kindly request that no one brings personal money. Rest assured, there will be plenty of engaging and entertaining activities available to us at no extra cost.
